Inspiring Summers
Join The Big Lift for our 11th Annual Inspiring Summers Program!
Students entering Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade in the fall are invited to apply for the Inspiring Summers 2026 program. This full-day, in-person program helps strengthen language and literacy skills while fostering positive school connections.
Students will enjoy engaging activities, including reading, science, art projects, field trips, mindfulness, and more! Breakfast and lunch are provided daily.
To participate, students must be:
- enrolled in a Big Lift district in Fall 2026**
- entering kindergarten–3rd grade in Fall 2026**
** The Big Lift is committed to improving early literacy and educational equity, priority enrollment is given to students who will benefit from additional support and practice building foundational literacy skills.

Supporting Summer Learning
Inspiring Summers is a critical program of The Big Lift. It provides students with fun and enriching summer programming that supports their language and literacy development. Summer learning loss can be one of the biggest challenges children face while learning to read.
